Federal Title I at Big Sky
Title I is a federal program in the United States that provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or percentages of children from low-income families. Its main goal is to ensure that all students, regardless of their economic background, have access to a high-quality education and meet state academic standards. Title I funding is often used for extra instructional support, additional teachers, intervention programs, and educational materials, helping to close achievement gaps and support student success.
How do Title I Funds Benefit Big Sky?
If 35% or more of our population completes the necessary form and qualifies for Free and Reduced lunches, Title I monies will continue to positively impact ALL Big Sky Students, whether they eat school lunch or not.
